This versatile 3-in-one piece is a great staple for your wardrobe. Use it as a cowl, a slouchy hat, or open the top up a bit and pull your ponytail through.

Worked in the round from the bottom up, this piece starts with front post/back post double crochet to create the ribbing. Then an easy but interesting stitch pattern is worked to create the ‘X’.

Fits an average 22 inch (56cm) head. The pattern is repeated with an 8 stitch repeat. If you want to make this bigger or smaller, add or minus a set of 8 stitches.

All patterns are written with both Imperial and Metric units.
