Funny thing about designing. Inspiration hits in odd moments. Say, when you are taking your kid to the local community college for placement, and they do SO WELL, that you almost explode with joy and pride. It’s like when you fall in love with your baby. You just want to cover them with kisses. X’s and O’s. X-and-O. Xando

Xando is a luxuriously soft cowl, knit from Skein Cocaine’s 100% SW Merino Worsted in the colorways Chocolate Cherries and Cream. I have been nibbling on chocolcate covered cherries as I worked on the sample, but that’s neither here nor there. It’s perfect for a Spring neck warmer while you wait for the flowers to bloom.

2 skeins of Chocolate Cherries and 1 skein of Cream will provide you with decadent, lofty, frivolous pleasure as you sip on the memories of people you have loved. And like a good box of chocolates, you can’t eat, er, knit just one of them.

If you’d like to change your size, no problem. Simply change your needle size along with your yarn size. For example: DK would need US6 and US7 needles. Mind you, your yardage will need some adjusting as well.

Please enjoy my pattern. It’s a joy to be able to experience, dream, and communicate my lifes experiences into the medium of knitting. All my love, Catie
