This sock is knitted from the heel up and from the toe down, allowing you to mirror the pattern using only one chart.

A simple charted lace sock with a twist: you start at the heel, knit the foot, take out the provisional cast on, make the leg, and you’re done! No short rows! No picking up of stitches! The pattern is mirrored on the foot and the leg, but you only have to learn one chart!

This pattern works well with a striping yarn, particularly one with long color repeats, as you can make the foot mirror the leg, which makes my linear soul very happy. :-)
