I love textured knits, and the Ya’ara (יערה-- honeysuckle) cardigan has a squishy honeycomb cables for days! It knits up quickly in worsted weight yarn, and is a nice combination of TV knitting and knitting that requires your attention. The finished cardigan is so cozy and versatile that it’s sure to become a wardrobe staple. I wear mine with just about everything!

Construction: Ya’ara is seamless, circular yoke cardigan, knit from the top down. Short rows are used to shape the neckline, and to provide additional length in the back, if desired. Sleeves are worked in the round from the underarm to the wrist.

Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4)(5, 6, 7)(8, 9 10)

Finished chest circumference: 30 (34, 38, 42)(46, 50, 54)(58, 62, 66)”/ 76 (86.5, 96.5, 107)(117, 127, 137)(147.5, 157.5, 168)cm finished bust size .
This cardigan is designed to be worn with 0-2”/0-5cm of positive ease, measured from the widest part of your bust.

Yarn: Any worsted weight yarn, approximately 850
(1000, 1100, 1200)(1300, 1400, 1500)(1600, 1700,
1800) yards, or 780 (920, 1000, 1100)(1190, 1290, 1375)(1470, 1560, 1650) meters.

Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows/4” in stockinette stitch, flat and in the round, with larger needle after blocking.

Needles: US #8/ 5mm circular
US #6/ 4mm circular—or size needed to obtain gauge.

Notions: Stitch markers, yarn needle, cable needle, buttons (approximately 7-8 3/4-1” buttons).
