The Yampa River flows freely from the Colorado Flat Tops Widerness area at 11,600 ft. through Steamboat Springs. The Yampa Hat’s slipped stitches add a layer of warmth for the days you fish or snowshoe along its banks. This pattern honors a place filled with family memories. We cross the Yampa River as we head into town in the morning. Winter morning drives greet us with colder temperatures and the trees sparkling with hoar frost from the river’s moisture. Get outside and play along side the beauty of a river.

The stitches show off hand-dyed or variegated yarns beautifully. The hat is designed in 4 sizes in Aran weight yarn. The pattern has both written and charted instructions.
