Yanni the Yale
The Yale or Centicore is a mythical creature that is said to be a creature similar to an antelope or goat with the tusks of a boar and large horns. The horns have the ability to swivel in any direction which makes them good for both offensive and defensive moves. The Yale represents bravery in action and peace in non war times.
This pattern uses 4 different colors of cotton yarn. I used the I love this Cotton! Yarn and the Yarn Bee Pima Suprema Yarn to get the colors I wanted. I used just over a skein (so it requires 2) of the Antique gold (I love this Cotton!), and less than one skein each of the Copper (Pima Suprema), Parchment (I love this Cotton!), and Pewter (I love this Cotton!). Other materials needed are Poly-Fil, and 2- 14mm Safety eyes. (You can Embroider eyes on it instead of using the safety eyes if you want to.)
