Greetings from the Woods of New Hampshire! This is a fun and easy, super long scarf you can crochet with your 12-day yarn advent calendar, or any DK wt scraps you have lying around. The color changes will be sure to keep your interest and in just a few days, you’ll have a beautiful, colorful scarf to help keep you warm and fashionable!

MATERIALS:
12 (20 g) mini skeins SW Merino DK weight yarn (various colors)
1 skein of contrasting color SW Merino DK weight yarn (100 g/245 yds)
Each mini skein section requires approx 18 g/50 yds/46 m of DK wt SW Merino yarn and each contrast color section requires approx 9 g/22 yds/20 m of DK wt SW Merino yarn.
You will need approx. 700-800 yds of DK wt yarn to make a scarf.
You can also substitute this yarn by holding 2 strands of ANY fingering wt yarn together.

HOOK:
US 10.5/K/6.5 mm crochet hook

GAUGE:
13 (dc) measured at an angle to match direction of sts + 5 rows (dc) = 4” (10 cm) on size US 10.5/K/6.5 mm crochet hook (blocked).

FINISHED SIZE:
122”/279 cm long x 8”/20 cm wide
