So, if you are looking for your next DIY project - the Yarn Play Vest is exactly what you need. It is hand knitted sideways, using 10mm size needle and basic stitches pattern that starts by knitting left side band of vest, ending with the right band. No any shaping! I chose two completely different yarns from my stash and got very unique texture. And the result didn’t disappoint me.
SKILL LEVEL: Easy.
NB The Vest pattern is in 4 sizes and 2 lengths. Pattern is written for S - M size and short length, with changes to L - XL size and mid length in parentheses.
It is photographed in S - M size and short length. For bigger/longer vest you will need more yarn.

Useful tip: To follow pattern, circle all numbers pertaining to your size before beginning.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
• 1 x 100g ball (300m or 328yds) using Alize Cashmira 233 colour shade.
• 6 x 50g balls (240m or 264yds) using Sirdar Kiko super chunky yarn. Colour 0418
NB If you substitute another yarn, please check gauge (tension) and yardage.
• 1 Circular needle 10.00mm (US 15) x length 90cm.
• 1 Tapestry needle.
MEASUREMENTS AFTER BLOCKING:

Sizes: S - M/L - XL.
Length: mid/long.
Vest length (from top of the shoulders) - 75cm/29.5ins, (85cm/33.5ins).
Vest back flat width (just below armhole) - 36cm/14ins, (41/16 ins).
Armhole width (armhole) - 25cm/10ins.
