This is a pattern purchase that helps Wool for the People on the road to acquiring our spinning equipment. 100% of the purchase price will be invested in that project.

The Yarn Raising Slipover is a perfect layer for our shoulder seasons. Worked in our delightfully woolly Wasco Fingering, this garment is both light and cozy.

Work starts with two lace shoulder panels off of which the back stitches are picked up and the back panel worked to the underarm. We return to the shoulders to pick up front panels and add a sweet lace motif that frames the neckline as it descends gracefully. Once the fronts make it to the underarm the garment is worked in the round to the folded hem. The neckline is also worked as a folded hem, this time with a mitered center. Simple ribbing finishes the armholes before your slipover is complete.

Size inclusivity is fundamental. The Yarn Raising Slipover is available in 21 sizes ranging from 32”/81.25cm chest circumference to a 73”/185.5cm circumference with detailed options for bust shaping darts. Care has been taken to fit the bodies of knitters at each of those sizes.

This pattern has been tested and thoroughly tech edited.
