This asymmetric triangular shawl was designed for James River Yarn Crawl 2021 that includes six lovely yarn shops. Designed with all-over texture, it has a variety of stitches, all easily mastered. Once you understand the flow of the design, you can make this shawl larger, or play around with building blocks to your liking. The shawl is designed as a 2 skein project and has a separate crochet version as well.

Skill level: advanced beginner to intermediate
Finished dimensions: about 102 in / 260 cm at the top edge, and about 24 in / 61 cm from top to bottom.
Yarn: fingering weight yarn, size 1; 820 yds / 750 m. 2 skeins of Rich Hill Yarns 75% superwash merino / 25% nylon, Pony Pasture colorway, were used for the sample (tag info 463yds / 100 g).
Needle: US 5 (3.75 mm) or size to obtain gauge.
Other materials: cable needle, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows = 4 in /10 cm in garter after strong blocking. Gauge difference is not crucial in this shawl but may affect you finished size and yarn quantity.
