This pattern features an 8 pointed star blanket with a no-gap center and a plush Ox to celebrate the Year of the Ox which begins Feb. 12, 2021.

This pattern was created for the expected child of a wonderful co-worker who, along with his wife, happens to be from Taiwan. There are several aspects of this blanket tied to Taiwanese (and also Chinese) culture that make it special - read all about them on the first page of the pattern or in the blog post included in this listing.

The full pattern is 10 pages long and includes detailed pattern notes, tips, and photos to help you along the way.

The pattern takes an estimated 11 - 15 hours to complete.
