ABOUT
The Year-Round Cardigan is the companion piece to the Year-Round Popover. Just like the popover, it is a top-down yoke with quarter sleeves featuring a deep ribbing dotted subtly with eyelets at the neck and hemlines. It makes the perfect layering piece for any time of year, especially when knit with a cotton/wool blend like Purl Soho’s Campo.

CONSTRUCTION
Beginning with a provisional cast-on, you’ll start at the neckline, working flat and increasing incrementally using backward loops to form the yoke. You will then separate the sleeves and body and work each separately in the round. Once the length of the body and each sleeve are reached and bound off, you’ll undo the provisional cast-on and pick up each stitch. A row of eyelets followed by a wide ribbed collar and, finally, i-cord edging to eliminate the curled edges will finish off your piece.
