She is about 5” (13cm) tall sitting in the peaceful Lotus position with her hands in Namaste (prayer) position.

Gauge is important in that it must create a fairly firm finished fabric so that the stuffing does not poke through the finished doll. Variations in yarn and needle size need to reflect this.
