Yoga socks provide some extra warmth and comfort during your practice. I typically wear them for the first ten minutes of a yoga class, then put them back on during shavasana so that my body can return to its normal temperature without getting a chill. On a cold day, I wear my socks for the entire yoga session.

With this free pattern, I want to benefit a worthy cause, so I’ll be donating $1 to Soul Fire Farm for every #yogisockskal that appears on IG -- up to $300. Soul Fire Farm is “a BIPOC-centered community farm committed to ending racism and injustice in the food system.” The organization is doing amazing work in more than 25 US states. Sixty percent of the folks they serve identify as women from low-income households. Learn more by visiting their website. If you knit along and enjoy the free pattern, perhaps you will consider making a donation as well, to Soul Fire Farm or a similar organization in your region of the globe.
