Yokan is Japanese for spring, meaning ‘still cold’.

The scarf is worked in the Endless Branch 2-colour slip stitch pattern, combining a gradient yarn and a contrasting single colour yarn.

Yokan scarf is a long, cozy scarf that can be wrapped twice around the neck. The picot cast-on and bind-off make attractive fringed borders at the beginning and end.

The scarf is worked in one piece, using 2 balls of a gradient sport weight yarn. The first ball makes the first half of the scarf and the second ball has the gradient colours reversed.

You can now buy the Yokan Scarf Kit from Jimmy Beans Wool.
