I designed this pattern to encourage new knitters to take a step beyond the basics. The concept is one that many are familiar with working, but adding new, more “advanced” stitches that are easy to learn and are found in many designs including lace patterns. I am stretching myself by writing this pattern, as it is my first design. So this is a learning experience for us all!
