This pattern was designed for a standard sized porch goose (23 inches tall).

This pattern includes the hat, the top, and optional (not pictured) sleeves with wings.

What you will need:
Yarn: Medium weight yarn in red and white
Hooks: 4mm (G-6), 5.5 mm (I)
Scissors for cutting the yarn
Needle for sewing and weaving in ends
Optional: pom-pom (or make your own)

ch (chain)
slst (slip stitch)
sc (single crochet)
inc (single crochet twice into one stitch)
sc2tog (single crochet 2 together)
hdc (half double crochet)
hdc2tog (half double crochet 2 together)
dc (double crochet)
FPHDC (front post half double crochet)
Magic ring (or any alternative to create a circle)
