This design is for Mighty Max. A fighter since before he was born. A sweet little boy that needs a very expensive medication to live. $2.8 million CAD to be exact. The blanket pattern was designed specially for him!

Materials:

  • 2280 yards, worsted weight ( 4 ) yarn. I used 8 skeins, Loops and Threads Impeccable, 4.5 oz /127.5 gm, 285 yds/260 m, in colors: 6 White MC & 2 Black CC
  • US Size 7 Crochet Hook (4.5 mm) or size to obtain gauge Notions: Scissors, Darning Needle, Spray Bottle, Pins, Foam Mat

Gauge:
15.5 stitches x 15.5 rows = 4” square in SC

CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet
DC – Double Crochet
DC2TOG – Double Crochet 2 Together (Decrease)
SLST – Slip Stitch

Notes:

  • All stitches are done in SC using the tapestry crochet technique of carrying two strands of yarn.
  • Turn your work at the end of each row.
  • CH1 at the beginning of each row. (Does not count as a ST)
  • When reading from the chart, 1 square = 1 SC.
  • Your eyes may get tired seeing MC & CC over and over again. Try using two different color pens to mark them.
