Young Afternoons Scarf - a scarf to while away your winter afternoons, with a cup of joe in your hand!

This is an easy, pretty lace scarf, worked with a garter stitch edging and an easy to memorize pattern, using yarn overs and slipped stitches.

I used Lida Tweed Flame Boutonne, a long discontinued 100% wool thick and thin yarn (mostly worsted weight), that resembled handspun yarn. Any worsted weight or thick and thin yarn can be used. Approximately 150 grams were used for my sample, which measured 12” by 61” after blocking.

Scarf is written for two sizes, approximately 12” or 18” wide, after blocking.

Many thanks to my testers, FalconDance, mabear, tinkershell , honeystalks and valcrafts!
