The glove has beautiful eyelet details and a warm, soft and fluffy cuff that feels wonderful to wear and is very festive. Make them in traditional white and red or be creative and try other colors or stripes!

Skills Required: U Knit, E Wrap, Purl, k2tog, Cast On/Bind Off

Tools & Materials:
3/8” Peg Spaced Loom (S/34 pegs, M/36 pegs, L/38 pegs)
Loom Knitting Hook
Scissors
Yarn Needle
DK 3 Weight Yarn in White
Bulky 5 Bernat Pipsqueak Yarn in Whitey White
Worsted 4 Weight Yarn in Red
Peg Markers (TIP: I use plastic drinking straws cut
into circles with a slit in one side)

Special Notes:
Mittens may be worked flat or in the round depending on your loom. A flat panel will be sewn together along the pinky side. Use a light weight yarn with the bulky Pipsqueak yarn to create the cuff as the Pipsqueak yarn on its own tends to lack the structure I like in a cuff. This makes the cuff stitches extremely bulky so we need to adjust the gauge of our knitting by using every other peg only.

An alternate yarn may be used in place of the Pipsqueak yarn if it has a fluffy/furry feel. Or you may simply use one strand of a worsted weight yarn and knit every peg for the cuff; you’ll also want to double the rows if you use a single worsted weight yarn.
