Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?
In the lane snow is glistening!
A beautiful Sight, we’re having tonight,
Walking in a winter wonderland!“

I absolutely love the magic of the winter holidays. Songs and stories about long dark winters giving way to the return of hope and light always bring me so much joy. I fantasize about snowy hills glistening with the icy blues and purples of a winter sunset and taking a fantastical sleigh ride through the glistening snow. That was exactly the imagery that I had in mind while creating this wrap. Each colorway in your yarn Advent is knit up using a different stitch with a combination of simple lace and textured stitches.

The wrap was designed to make the most use out of twelve mini skeins and a coordinating full sized skein of fingering weight yarn. You’ll make a long rectangular wrap that terminates in a point, with a center stitch running down the spine.

Suggested Yarn

Fuzzywhatknots Fuzzy Sock. This was designed using the 2021 Advent in the cool color way collection. I used 12 mini skeins at about 92 yards each and 1 full skein at 463 yards.

You could easily use 4 skeins of sock yarn to recreate this wrap simple by alternating three different colors for the mini skein section and using the fourth for the “main color”.

This relates only to the pattern sent out with the Fuzzywhatknots Advent sets.

Set Up Row 2: The stitch marker placement is not correct. It should read k3, sm, m1r, k1, m1l, sm, k1, sm, m1r, k1, m1l, sm, k3

Page 4, Row 3 of the Chevron Lace Instructions: there is a missing yarn over after the center stitch. It should read…k1, sm, m1r, k1, k2tog, yo, k3…

Page 6 Row 4 of the Garter Slip Stitch instructions: there are no increases in that row. Row 7 of that same section: those stitches are all slipped with yarn held in back.

Please feel free to reach out for an updated pattern from either myself or Fuzzywhayknots. I would be happy to add the pattern to your Ravelry library as well so that you get any subsequent updates sent right to you.
