The Yumery Dress is a top-down knit dress with an open-side silhouette. The back panel is worked first, followed by the front panels. After joining the front panels at the armholes, the body is worked flat to the hem. The front and back are finished separately, with folded hems that meet only at the underarms. This construction allows the side openings to fall naturally without seams.

The armholes are finished with folded hems by picking up stitches along the overlapped sections of the front and back panels. The neckline and hem also feature folded finishes for a clean, minimal edge.
