Yvette the yellowjacket

Yvette the yellowjacket is a crochet wasp that is made to look semi realistic but still very cute and cuddly. I was inspired by my fear of wasps and I thought this would help my conquer it, I don’t know if it worked but at least I have a cute plushie of a wasp now! And you can have one too! It is made in several pieces and requires a bit of sewing. Its level is advanced beginner to intermediate due to the frequent color changes and amount of sewing. I recommend using super bulky yarn but you should be able to do it in any weight yarn. For this pattern you will need

6.5 mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Approx 28 yards yellow super bulky yarn
Approx 34 yards black super bulky yarn
Stuffing
40 mm safety eyes

Thanks so much!
