This is a ragged zig-zag bit of lace, hence the name. Gauge not needed either.
A solid or tonal yarn is best as too variegated will probably cause a fight between the pattern and the yarn.
The pattern is both charted and written, but please note that only the EVEN numbered rounds are written out as the odd numbered ones are simply knitted around.
