These fingerless mitts are a mostly plain stockinette/jersey pattern knitted from the bottom-up.

This pattern includes a ladder or zebra crossing on the outer side on each mitt, which is knitted in 2 contrasting colours. This pattern is perfect for using those leftover aran weight yarns we all have stashed away after knitting a sweater. It will look great with a short gradient yarn for the background colour of the zebra crossing. However the pattern will look great with any contrasting yarn.

Feel free to play with your leftovers ;)

You can adapt the length of the pattern to your needs. It is
written in two sizes. You can easily adapt the width. If your fingers are feeling cold, you can knit them as gloves. The instructions will be at the end of the pattern.

This pattern matches with the Zebra Crossing sock, the Zebra Crossing hat and the Zebra Crossing cowl.
