Zebra Ornament
Make your own sweet crochet zebra ornament with this easy to follow crochet pattern with step by step tutorial and photos to help along the way!
This pattern is worked in the round with the body and head as one piece. You will want to be familiar with using a magic circle and invisible decreases. You can find more tips plus the free version of this pattern on my blog, graceandyarn.com!
Finished product measures approximately 4.5 inches tall.
Skill level: Easy/Intermediate - this is a beginner friendly pattern with some sewing of parts
Materials -
• Size 4 worsted weight yarn (40 yards of white, 25 yards black; small amount choice of color for scarf and cheeks)
• Yarn or twine to hang ornament (approx. 6 inches long)
• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• 9mm safety eyes
• Black crochet/embroidery thread for eyelashes/eyebrows
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Stuffing
• Stitch markers
Abbreviations - US terminology
MC- Magic circle
SC- Single crochet
SC INC- Single crochet increase
HDC – Half double crochet
INV DEC- Invisible decrease
Sl st – Slip stitch
St(s)- Stitch(es)
Rep – Repeat
