This cute Zen top and cosy Daya shorts form the Zendaya set , which is perfect for lounging in the summer. Contrasting colour stripes on the sides of the shorts and top’s body add a sporty feel. As a huge pop culture fan, Paula was inspired to design this set by the Hollywood actress Zendaya’s easy elegance.

NOTES
The top is worked top-down, starting with square CC panels for the shoulders. Stitches are picked up from these for the front and back panels. The back panel is worked first and shaped with short rows and increases. Stitches are then picked up for the fronts, with neckline and armhole shaping, before the body is joined at the underarms. From there, the top is worked in the round down to the hem with CC stripes at the sides. The hem, neckline and armholes are all finished with neat i-cord edges.
