Zerlina is a top down crescent shawl, named for one of the characters in Mozart’s early comedic opera, Don Giovanni. Pattern contains large, easy to read charts and full line by line directions. As written this shawl uses around 800 yards of fingering weight yarn, directions are given for expanding the stockinette section for a larger shawl.

The lace section uses only basic stitches (yarn overs, single and double decreases), making this a suitable project for someone new to lace knitting.

Also available as part of a knit from Craftsy.
