Quick to knit!) with alternating seed stitch and reversible cable columns. It’s a lovely, classic style blanket with a modern twist, sure to wow expectant parents, no matter what their style is. With some basic cable techniques to create these fascinating reversible cables, it’s EASY, too!

Construction Details
This blanket is made in one piece. Stitches are cast on with stitch markers separating the alternating seed and cable columns. The pattern includes a handy row tracker checksheet to help you keep track of your rows as you knit this project.

Finished measurements: Approximately 30” wide x 30” long

Yarn: 700 yards of chunky weight (CYCA #5) yarn. Sample made with Berroco Vintage Chunky (52% Acrylic, 40% Wool, 8% Nylon, 136 yds/100 g), 6 balls in #6121 “Sunny”

Gauge: 14 stitches and 20 rows = 4” in seed stitch using size needle to obtain gauge.

Needles: US 10 (6 mm) knitting needle or size needed for gauge. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Other Materials: 14 stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle.
