The pattern is written to fit a Women’s Small/Medium, but would also work for a Men’s Small or a Children’s Large.

3 skeins of yarn were used simply because three different contrasting colors are needed for this design. However, 3 skeins provide more than enough yarn to make 2 full hats with yarn left-over.

The brim can be knitted as long as the maker prefers. Around 5-6 inches for a fold-up brim has worked the best for me.
