The zig zag hat is an aran weight warm hat with some subtle zigzag shaped, lace panels to add interest. The twisted rib gives it structure around the face and the lace body covers the head. It is a slouchy beanie designed for adult heads. There are three sizes: 56cm, 58cm or 60cm (22, 23, 24in). The crown is made with some gentle shaping and a drawstring finish. A pom pom is optional.

We used Eden Cottage Yarns Bowland Aran (166m per 100g, aran weight, 100% bluefaced leicester yarn) but this will work with any aran weight yarn that can be opened up when blocked to show off the lace!
