The pink and white version of this blanket won the 2nd prize in the MD state fair for it’s catergory in 2024.

This is a lacy pattern which uses a basic shell alternating with a chain space to create a zig zag lace appearance. The pattern is relatively simple but does have a several row repeat.

You would need to be able to do the following crochet stitches to complete the piece:
double crochet, single crochet, chain stitch, and a beginning slip stitch.

When finished, this piece would benefit from blocking like most lace pieces but it is not strictly needed.
