The Ziggo hat was co-created with my son. He doesn’t knit (yet!) but he chose the colors for the original, described what he wanted in the stripes, chose the final striping chart from several samples I drew out for his consideration, and gave feedback every step of the way. Our first, but hopefully far from our last, collaboration.

The colorwork is simple but striking. The repeat is short as can be, easy to read your work as you go, and soothingly rhythmic, making it an ideal introduction to stranded colorwork (and possibly just a little bit addictive). It also uses only a small amount of the contrast color, making it a great stash buster for using (and highlighting) the last of a favorite beautiful color.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we do -- tag #theknitcycledesigns so we can see your FO!
