The yarn was a gift from my daughter, the inspiration was a picture I saw online - and so I set about designing a simple shawl that I can dress up to wear to work, and is easy to wear on cold days. Feels like wearing a hug from my daughter.

Size
Arc-shaped: Approximately 135cm (upper edge length)/260cm (bottom
edge length) and 35cm wide Materials
Yarn: 2 or 3 balls Debbie Bliss Fine Donegal
Needles: Choose a size to achieve a nice drapey fabric. I used 3.5mm. You need a very long circular (needs to hold a lot of stitches).
Stich markers: Makes keeping track of the increases and decreases
easier.

Gauge
Is not crucial: about 21 stitches to 10cm or as
needed to achieve a nice drapey fabric.

This is not a professionally produced and tested pattern. Hope it provides some inspiration or a starting point for your project.
