These beautiful socks are knitted cuff down, using the magic loop method.
The ribbing uses twisted stitches that continues into the simple lace/eyelets that make the pattern on the foot. Since the lace is so simple, this would be a great pattern for someone who wants to give lace a try and doesn’t want to commit to a big project like a shawl.

You can choose which heel you like most as both a short row heel and a heel flap and gusset is described in the pattern.

The sizing is based on the circumference of the foot. S, M, L represent 56, 64, 72 stitches. The length of the foot is based on your measurements.

The yarn used is Handmade by Mandy and is handdyed. I would highly recommend her yarns, but as it is not readily available worldwide, I knitted a second sample in Drops Fabel. And to be honest: any sock yarn will be fine.
I would recommend a solid, semi solid or tonal yarn. Long stripes would work too.
