Zingiber beanie hat
The pattern is called Zingiber as when i was creating it I was reminded of beehive gingers. I wanted to create a simple pattern that had some great texture.
This pattern is worked from the crown down and uses back post stitches to create the texture.
The pattern is written to make a deep hat but if you want to make it short it would easy to omit a few rounds.
A smaller/larger hook or yarn would also allow you adjust sizings.
Approx. 1 1/2 50g balls of the Knitpicks worsted is used per hat or 1 ball of the Lincraft Double knit is sufficient.
