Zinnia pretty
Enjoy the Zinnia pretty shawl pattern as a forever free download~
Do me a favor and add the pattern to your faves, I would greatly appreciate it.
If you want to knit yours like I did here from a convenient and perfectly arranged knit kit with very few ends to weave in, you get to save 20% on the kits right now at Yarnz2go.
The Zinnia pretty shawl is knitted with a Lightly skein in seven color/yarn changes and a mini skein of all seven colors/yarns to frame the bottom edge and so you only have to weave in 4 ends. Refreshing, right?
The shawl starts out at the top in stockinette stitch, ever growing along the sides until three lace sections are adding a lovely interest, followed by another stockinette section. The bind off is done with all seven colors/yarns held together to frame it nicely and the kit includes the extra portion wound together.
The fully written pattern offers also a lace chart.
The dimensions are 63” along the bottom edge and 13” in middle height.
Yarn
C1- A skein of Lightly. 238 yards in 7 colors/yarns in fingering and lace weights.
C2 - A mini skein of all 7 yarns/colors, creating a bulky skein holding 22 yards.
The knit kits are available at Yarnz2go.
You can also knit your Zinnia in heavier yarns, just go up in needle size or two, maybe even three. Experiment~ :yarn:
