Zombee Socks

Named for my love of Halloween & the honeycomb slip stitch, these socks were born of the desire for a pattern that would compliment variegated yarns. If variegated yarn isn’t your jam, FEAR NOT! These socks will be fabulous in solids, stripes, speckles, or anything else you can conjure up. They are knit in the round from the cuff down & pattern includes instructions for a heel flap/gusset & rounded toe. Pattern is written for DPNs, but is easily adaptable to your preferred method.

Materials

  • 50-90g (185-335yds) fingering weight sock yarn
  • 2.5mm (US1.5) DPNs or size needed to obtain correct gauge
  • Darning Needle, Row Counter

Gauge

8 sts/inch over stockinette stitch

Finished Sizes

XS/S/M/L - 6”/7”/8”/9” sock circumference
