One of my favourite things to hook up is bold graphics in Corner to Corner crochet. Here are two charts for C2C crochet blankets. One named ZZ Block and one named Ziggy (this one is a secret bonus chart!)

If you’re already a C2C aficionado, you won’t need written instructions, the chart will tell you everything you need to know! However, I will try and help a bit more here…

Approximate measurements:

  • If using a 4mm hook and working in DK yarn your blanket will measure approximately 66 x 95cm / 26 x 37 inches.
  • If using a 4.5mm hook and aran weight yarn your blanket will measure approximately 80 x 110cm / 32 x 43 inches.

(We’re talking generous baby blanket/toddler blanket and lap blanket).

***Yarn quantities:

  • In total you will need approximately 350 grams for a dk weight blanket.
  • In total you will need approximately 700 grams for a aran weight blanket.
    (I’ve rounded up for both)

I used a non-brand grey (I suggest substituting with Stylecraft Special dk in Grey) for the mc  and the cc’s are: Stylecraft Special dk in Citron, Turquoise, Lobelia, Candyfloss & Fuchsia.

Charts only. No written instructions for the C2C stitch

● Work the direction of the arrows to minimise snipping of yarn.
● For extra help with C2C this video tutorial may help:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkRDKp3As94&t=1163s it’s for a hat & cowl but  the principle is the same.
● If you have particularly loose tension I recommend going down half a hook size for  your project.
● Includes the written colour order of the blocks for both blankets. Use these in conjunction with the charts or standalone.
