This collection of crochet bag patterns features a variety of stitch patterns and designs. A few patterns use the same stitch but are offered in different sizes, giving you options to choose the bag that best suits your needs.

Most of these bag patterns follow the same style, and are worked in one piece from the bottom up. However, you can easily customize your bag by switching up your handles. I have included a pdf link with a few ideas for other handles that could be used with these bags.

In addition to your yarn and crochet hook, you’ll also need a measuring tape, scissors, stitch markers, and a yarn needle.

I used cotton yarn for most of these bags. However, if you plan on lining your bag with a sturdy bag liner, you can basically choose any yarn that meets the gauge, including acrylic. Acrylic stretches a lot, but a bag liner will help to prevent that stretch. I have included a link to a pdf tutorial for a bag liner with pockets and a zipper.

If you plan on lining your bag, you’ll need fabric for the liner, sewing thread and a sewing needle, an optional zipper, and a sewing machine. A sewing machine makes it easier, but you can also sew by hand if you don’t have one.

Each bag pattern has its own page, making it easy to print off only the patterns that you wish to print.
