It was a brisk Autumn morning and Barina had just awoken from a peaceful night’s slumber. The crisp morning breeze reminded her that Fall was on it’s way and with that came her favorite time of the year. She began to reminisce about all the lovely memories she had of picking pumpkins, baking pies, and going for hayrides. Unfortunately, it also reminded her of some sadness. She had lost a loved one during this special time of year. This made her reflect on just how precious life is and how important spending time with those you care about can be. “I know! I’ll have a grand feast and invite all my friends and family!!” and she busily scurried off to her desk to draw up invitations. “ I shall invite Owlia, Butters, Lorelei, Clog, Carousel Horse, Pumpkinhead, and Billy and Bernadette Hippeas. It will be so wonderful to spend time with friends, catch up with one another, and of course eat good food! “ Once the ink had dried and all the envelopes were sealed, Barina set off to mail out her invitations.

The following morning, the phone rang. Riiiiinnnnggg! “ Oh hello Owlia. How are you today?” inquired Barina. “ I am doing well. I just wanted to let you know that the owl post dropped off your invitation and I will absolutely will be attending the feast. What a lovely idea! I will see you this weekend. Bye now.” and she hung up. Barina was so happy, she had gotten her first RSVP. As the day continued, she received even more yeses! The feast was going to be magnificent and she would celebrate it with all her family and friends!
