This ebook includes both versions of my Nearly Winter Capelet - Frostnight and Wintertide.

Both patterns include the same core stitches, and both include instructions for either the Lazy Braid or the Mock Braid. The difference is in the edging instructions.

The Frostnight version includes a basic garter stitch border, which is also reflected at the neckline.

Wintertide begins with a provisional cast on then continues with German Short Rows to round the lower edge, and finally wraps the edge with a cabled iCord edging. Then the provisional stitches are picked up to work the main capelet, continuing the cable & icord at both edges. The cable & iCord are also added at the neckline.
