ABOUT THIS BOOK

I have a confession. Even though I have been knitting for many years and knit all sorts, I just love a super simple knit. Something I just don’t have to think about. There is a time for tricky lace, but there are definitely times for super simple garter stitch.

This book includes five very basic shawls, all knit in garter stitch, all in easy-to-wear shapes. I wanted to put all of my simply shawls into a single book so that when you know you want to knit something not too taxing, you know where to go.

THE YARN

I wanted to make it easy to find yarns for the shawls in this book. So, while all of the yarns are shown in the undyed bases that I use in my dye studio, Banshee Yarns, the patterns also list the standard yarn weight and meterage used. Why have stress-free patterns if you can’t easily find the right yarn?
