Welcome to The Expedition! A special pattern club by Skeinwalker.

The Expedition is all about exploring and discovering new territories. The Expedition . Year 2 . The Rocks will have five accessory patterns (2 wraps, 2 cowls, 1 scarf). They all will have unexpected (but knitable) constructions: Think different knitting directions, unusual CO, easy to combine modules, etc.

The patterns will be released as an ebook and added one by one every few months starting from June 2019 until June 2020 Jan. / Feb. Sep. 2021.
Update May 2020: Please note that the publication of the two last patterns is delayed due to health concerns. The pattern club will run (at least) until December 2020, but please keep in mind that it’s an estimation. Thanks for your comprehension!

Sweet, what do I get for this price?
The Expedition patterns will be released one by one. You’ll get 5 knitted accessories in total: 2 wraps (one of which being the Stratimology stole); 2 cowls (one of which being the Basalt Swirl cowl stole); 1 scarf (the Laminae scarf / stole).

You can expect high quality knitting patterns with lots of support materials to make your knitting life easier! Like with all Skeinwalker patterns, the Expedition patterns will include crystal-clear full written and charted instructions as well as a schematic, blocking photos, detailed sample photos and video tutorials for the used stitches and techniques. When relevant you’ll also get stitch counts, yarn consumption information and some cheat sheets to help you along. Plus, whenever possible, I’ll include customization suggestions to adapt the size of the project to your yarns and needs, or to make the best possible use of the yardage you have.

To keep the fun-level high, there will be some ongoing KALs during the whole duration of The Expedition. First, you can join the Summer KAL in the Skeinwalker Ravelry group with prizes to win. This KAL will be relayed later this year by the special Expedition KAL.
