In Taoism, the Five Elements (Wuxing) are Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood.

I am designing a series of 5 double-knit hats based on those five elements; each will be released (and those who have purchased the collection will receive a notification) as it is available. Currently, only the Fire hat (Agni Deus) and the Earth hat (Honey Locust) are out; the others will appear in the appropriate order.

In addition to the common theme, they each have a common design element: a vaguely teardrop-shaped application of off-the-grid double-knitting that uses rapid increases and gradual decreases to create a smoothly curved shape reminiscent of a water droplet, flame, leaf, etc. Each pattern will also push the envelope on double-knitting in a different and challenging way.

Nota bene: Thank you for your patience as I have been rebuilding my technological and emotional capacity to continue releasing patterns after my home burned down at the end of May 2020. I will do my best to keep up a faster release schedule in the future.
