Started sampling last night - I’ll be making a sample card and checking against it throughout this spin. Aiming for a lightweight worsted-spun 2-ply for a lace shawl.

control card made! I seem to have an easier time matching my ideal single with the pearl weights, so I’m using those. Quite thematic

Since I was very close to half done with the spindle, I’m doing the other half on Orlaith and then using those as the two plies. I still love this spin, but I want it to be done already.
