Planning a vest with about 12 ounces of fingering weight yarn.
Pretty fine gauge. My preferred swatch is on size 5 needles, 26 st/4 in after washing.

Decided to go with Sleeveless and cast on today. Amazon web services have caused websites to be out and it feels like a snow day with Canvas and other sites that I use for work not being available. Taking advantage of that AND the beautiful October summer day to get a project started. I’m making the second size but have re-calculated the number of stitches needed based on my gauge.
I thought my gauge was closer than it actually is. Pattern gauge of 24 st/4 inches is before washing the swatch. Pattern lists after washing gauge as 21 st/4 inches. I’m not sure what the purpose of the pre-washing gauge is or why this is the gauge the pattern is listed under.

Worked the back yoke and am now on the front yoke. Almost to the point of the horizontal stitch. I love the fabric this is making.
