I will say that this pattern kicked my butt at times. I can say however, that I am now very comfortable with charts, doing lace on both RS and WS rows, and cussing while I knit. I really think it turned out lovely. I may just have to make another one…

Side note: Hilda passed away in January, 2015. Shawl has never been seen since.
