Made myself a pair of these Juris mitts with the flip tops several years ago and absolutely love them (still!) - check them out here - My Juris Mitts - and this time, it’s a manly gift. No flip tops, but still a contrast color cast on and bind off.

Felt so strange to be working with size 3 needles and a worsted weight yarn for the fingers and all, but final project makes a very dense fabric and definitely keeps out the cold. Quite a difference between a size small and large. This is a great pattern! Very flexible sizes.
