Notes

I knit this blanket as a wedding gift for my brother and his newly-wed husband.

The pattern was simple enough to be worked up quickly and mindlessly without being boring. The lace edging however, was rather challenging and took about 27 hours alone, which was hurriedly completed within three days leading up to the wedding day. It was my first experience with lace, and it just about killed me, so if you’re knitting this pattern under a time constraint, be sure to give yourself plenty of time for the border!

I also used a darker matching color for the border which I highly recommend! I feel it draws more attention to the lace detail and gives the blanket a nice outline.
